Senda Verde, co-founded by impassioned wildlife stewards Vicky Ossio and Marcelo Levy, was established in 2003 in the subtropical region east side of the Bolivian Andes in South America. Its purpose is to save and shelter animals rescued from illegal trafficking and/or displaced due to the destruction of their natural habitats.
The Senda Verde organization relies heavily on volunteers and donations to keep it running at an optimal level. Dr. Safford will be volunteering her time and medical expertise for one week in January 2024. If you would like to support this effort, the organization is graciously accepting monetary donations from anyone willing and able to help.
Thank you in advance for supporting such an incredibly worthy cause and contributing to the protection of wildlife for generations to come.
