Diagnostics

Slide - BG

Could an illness or injury be plaguing your pet?

When people get sick or hurt, they call the doctor, explain their symptoms and receive the appropriate care. With pets, it’s not always this straightforward. Because animals can’t speak, they can’t always let us know when something is bothering them.

What’s more, many animals are able to hide the signs of illness, allowing it to develop and worsen undetected.

Veterinary diagnostics enable us to identify and treat health problems in a timely manner. Faster diagnosis of illness and injury can vastly improve the chances of a positive outcome.

Laboratory

We work with a trusted off-site diagnostic laboratory, which makes it fast and efficient to run a wide variety of tests. In many cases, we can have results in just a few days. This means we can have a treatment plan in place quickly for a better outcome.

Ultrasound Imaging

When a physical exam and lab work aren’t enough to reach a diagnosis, we turn to advanced ultrasound imaging technology.

Ultrasound provides a non-invasive way to learn what’s happening inside your pet’s body so we can diagnose potential health concerns. Ultrasound imaging is safe and painless, and produces highly-accurate images that enable us to evaluate how your pet’s body is functioning.

Some of the many conditions ultrasound can be used to evaluate and diagnose include:

  • Heart disease
  • Tumors
  • Bladder and/or kidney stones
  • Diseases of the organs (liver, kidney, gallbladder, etc.)
  • Gastrointestinal concerns
